I came here to purchase what would be a long awaited dream bike. Tory was my sales manager and from beginning to end a female rider could not have a more appropriate and helpful sales rep. I want to write an endorsement for Mike who works in service at Port 20.
On Friday, July 27th our Four Winns boat lost it steering in the middle of the lake due to a snapped cable. I called a couple of marinas that I had dealt with in the past and didn't get very far or much service from them. I then looked for the Four Winns dealer on the lake and came across Surdyke who I have never dealt with before.
I called and was connected to Mike in service at Port 20. The guy is unbelievable. He talked me through some options, talked to me about towing, told me he was working Saturday and Sunday and after a couple of phone calls I arranged to tow my boat into Port 20 at 8:00 AM to meet him on the dock on Sunday the 29th. After an hour tow we pulled up and he came down to the dock to help us secure the boat. Later that same morning he had a mechanic look at the boat, confirm the problem, checked on the part, ordered it and pulled our boat out of the water on Sunday for repair later in the week. The part won't be in until Friday and he's working hard to get it fixed before my family from Canada fly in to the lake the following Thursday to spend the weekend with us.
I worked in marketing and finance at Anheuser-Busch for nearly 20 years. I now teach Marketing courses at Mizzou and I know that we acquire customers with the promises we make. We keep customers by fulfilling those promises. I can tell you that Mike is fulfilling the promises that Surdyke makes to it's customers. He is excellent and went way beyond my expectations (and your competitors) with his friendly attitude and service focus. This experience is the truest definition of "service".
As a result I will not be returning for service to the other two marinas. I'm 2 miles from Port 20 and I can assure you that I will return for all future service with Surdyke. I will definitely be telling all our friends about this incident and tell them about Mike and Surdyke.
Don't know what you're paying him but he has an excellent attitude and true customer care in his service. Thank you!

The staff is very friendly and will go out of there way to accommodate you. The owner will even get you discounts at resorts when you come down to stay on the lake. Recently purchased a used Bass Tracker 170. Jim Cramer went way beyond anyone that I have ever dealt with. After the sale he was on a 3 day weekend and still communicated with me with a couple of problems I was having. Having to return to the marina for trolling motor replacement he had the crew change the spark plugs on motor. Also have to mention that this was an out of state purchase which can add to some problems. Jim constantly emailed me to make sure everything was functioning properly. Hats Off to Jim Cramer and all the crew at Surdyke Marina. I will definitely return next spring if only for a gallon of oil. Great Service.......

Some friends and I were up around the lake for Bike Fest on Saturday. We were on D highway outside of Ha Ha Tonka state park when my valve stem broke on the rear tire. It was nearly 4 pm and after several phone calls, Surdyke was the only shop that would even entertain the idea of replacing it that day. We got the bike to them just before closing and even though they were trying to finish up a Victory they made the time to get me back on the road. I just wanted to take a minute to let you know what an outstanding job your parts department, specifically your Online Parts Manager, did when I ordered a replacement oil plug for an ATV purchased from your store several years ago. I knew you no longer carried this brand of ATV so the chances of obtaining a replacement plug were low, but Richard spent a lot of time and effort sourcing the plug, making several calls, and always being nice enough to keep me informed of his progress.... after several weeks of never giving up he was finally able to secure two plug assemblies. I have never know someone to work so hard and long for a $20 parts order. I know it was not a large order for your company but all of the effort he made is most appreciated by this Surdyke customer.
I have purchased a total of four WaveRunners and one ATV from Surdyke's and am currently looking at a boat. Rest assured, based on the service above and beyond provided, Surdyke will continue to be my first choice when purchasing any type of ATV or watercraft.

We left your showroom about 6:00 tonight and I couldn't wait to tell you about our experience that we had today with Jerry Winters. We drove in from Kansas City expecting to be given a heavy sales speech today and honestly we thought that Jerry would do his best to get us into a new AR240 instead of the 2011 that we really wanted. What we experienced is exactly the opposite. "Bones" was extremely knowledgeable, very friendly and never once made us feel like he was trying to give us the "sell". He was careful with our time and truly was very professional. My husband has researched this boat for about 6 years - reading forums, watching videos, attending the Overland Park or Bartle Hall boat show every year. Jerry's knowledge was impeccable. He has definitely been around these boats more than what we were expecting. I deal with sales people every day for my job. There is nothing more irritating than dealing with a sales person who thinks he can sell himself and have no real knowledge of his product. Jerry is exactly opposite of this. We got what we hoped for: a genuinely nice guy who wanted to sell us what we were there to buy. We love the boat and overall had a great experience today. And actually our kids did too!

Greg, just a note to tell you what a great company you have that I am sure is directly related to great employees.
I purchased used G3 tritoon from your group this spring and couldn't be happier with the experience. Drew was absolutely great with the sale, couldn't of been better. Mike and Drew were real troopers with the delivery/orientation in very inclement weather and Mike was very patient and helpful with all our beginner questions, even in a few emails latter to clarify things. Vince was very thorough and informative in fixing a few minor issues. At the closing Jeff was informative but not pushy in explaining cove coverage which I reluctantly bought but am glad i did. Overall the whole purchase process was a painless, pleasant, non stressful ordeal but it gets better.
Last Saturday went out at 3 pm to use our boat and the batteries were shot. I called in at 3 on Saturday afternoon for cove service not expecting much immediate satisfaction but Rick and Mike had someone there in 20 minutes with new batteries. Absolutely stellar response! I didn't get the young man's name with the batteries (tall, thin, curly hair) but he had a great personality and was a joy to deal with. After we got going we went to Port 20 for gas and ran into Maddison. What a great ambassador for your company. A true sweetheart that gives a person faith in the next generation.
Greg, most people in business can only dream of assembling a team like you have who truly like to service customers. You have a great company and count me as a repeat customer.
